WALSHAM-Le-Willows FC's venture into the unknown starts tomorrow when they travel to Stanway Rovers for their first test in the Ridgeons League Premier Division (ko 3pm).
The Summer Road-based outfit were competing in the Suffolk & Ipswich League in 2004, but two promotions in three years has seen the small Suffolk club rise to the highest status in their history.
And, central midfielder Paul Musgrove says that the side who lifted the Ridgeons League Division One title last season are unfazed by the challenge ahead of them.
"There is a real buzz about the place at the moment," said Musgrove, who signed a new one-year deal with the club this week. …
