Fed: Nigerian President meets PM
CANBERRA, Feb 28 AAP - Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo said today he would examinethe issue of Zimbabwe's possible expulsion from the Commonwealth, along with talk of sanctions.
President Obasanjo joined Prime Minister John Howard for talks at Parliament Houseahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM) meeting at the weekend.
But he refused to endorse moves to expel Zimbabwe or impose sanctions.
The two leaders said the issues would be discussed at CHOGM on the weekend.
