SA: South Australians urged to help Turkey quake victims

South Australian opposition leader MIKE RANN has urged the state's residents to donate
money to help victims of Turkey's devastating earthquake.

Mr RANN says South Australians should be encouraged to make donations to the relief appeal
through recognised charities like the Red Cross.

He says the world is responding to the Turkish crisis with a massive humanitarian effort
and everyone should play their part to help the victims.

The death toll of Tuesday's quake stands at almost 7000.
